UnityPoint Health and MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center have signed a letter of intent (LOI) for UnityPoint Health to acquire MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center in Iowa. The acquisition includes all facilities, including the hospital, physician practices, and home care services. The goal is to continue to enhance access to high-quality health care for residents of Sioux City and surrounding communities, the announcement of the LOI stated.
