University Of Vermont Medical Center Opens Mental Health Urgent Care

The University of Vermont (UVM) Medical Center in Burlington and several other organizations opened a Mental Health Urgent Care in October 2024. The facility serves adults age 18 and older. No referral or appointment is needed. The facility is fully funded for three years, so there are no costs to consumers.

The Mental Health Urgent Care was developed by UVM Medical Center, Howard Center, Pathways Vermont, Community Health Centers and the Vermont Department of Mental Health.
