Urgent Care Group Acquires ParkMed Urgent Care, Expanding Care In East Tennessee

Urgent Care Group (UCG), which provides urgent care services in five states, acquired ParkMed Urgent Care near Maryville, Tennessee. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition expands UCG's presence in Tennessee where it also has centers operating in partnership with Covenant Health. In total, the UCG network includes 56 centers operating as six brands: Covenant Health Urgent Care in partnership with Covenant Health in Tennessee, Health Choice Urgent Care in partnership with Northside Hospital in Georgia, Medac Urgent Care in North Carolina, MEDcare Urgent Care in South Carolina, ParkMed Urgent Care in Tennessee, and Total Access . . .
