US HealthVest Adds Inpatient Facility In Chicago Area

US HealthVest recently announced it has acquired Vista Medical Center, located in Wukegan, Illinois, and previously known as Porvena Saint Therese Medical Center. It is anticipated that US HealthVest will triple the capacity of the center.

The center will be undergoing another name change as part of the acquisition, becoming Lake Behavioral Hospital. Additionally, the center—which currently has 46 inpatient psychiatric beds—will be expanding to add 100 new beds, a $30 million endeavor. It is expected that the new projected will be completed by fall 2019, and will help to create about 150 new jobs.
