VA Awards Nearly $13 Million To Fight Veteran Homelessness In Montana

The federal Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced the award of $12,755,445 in grants to two organizations in Montana to help Veterans who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.

The organizations in Montana receiving grants, according to the announcement, are Veterans Inc., receiving $1,837,500, and Volunteers of America, Northern Rockies, receiving $10,917,945.

Throughout fiscal year 2026, the grants will fund the organizations as they help Veterans access housing and housing counseling, health care, financial planning services, childcare, legal assistance, and transportation.
