Mid-Atlantic hospital systems Virtua Health and ChristianaCare signed a letter of intent to explore the co-founding of a new regional not-for-profit health system to serve their more than 10 contiguous counties in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, according to an announcement.
