Walgreens & Humana Partner On Senior Primary Care Clinics

Walgreens Boots Alliance (Walgreens) and Humana recently announced they are partnering to operate senior primary care clinics in drugstores. The decision impacts two Walgreens stores located in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Financial terms of the collaboration have not been disclosed.

The pilot program will see senior care focused clinics operating within the same locations as the pharmacy stores, and come in the wake of announcements earlier this year that CVS Health will be acquiring health insurer Aetna.
