Walgreens Launches Own-Brand Naloxone Nasal Spray  

Retail drugstore Walgreens is now offering Walgreens Brand Naloxone HCI Nasal Spray over-the-counter for $34.99. It said Walgreens Brand Naloxone HCl Nasal Spray, 4mg, will be available in stores and online by the end of May 2024.  

The product can be used in the event of an opioid overdose, to temporarily reverse the effects, when administered in time. The retail price of $34.99, which is lower than the Walgreens price for the comparable national brand. The lower-priced store brand product can further enable access to the treatment.
