Walgreens, VillageMD Partner To Open Primary Care Clinics In Houston Stores

Walgreens and VillageMD are partnering to open primary care clinics at some of Walgreens’s Houston, Texas retail locations. The announcement comes as a continuation of Walgreens’s previously announced focus shift toward a changing health care delivery model.

Specifically, the two organizations will be collaborating to open five new primary care clinics, which will be located next to existing Walgreens stores throughout the region. These five clinics are expected to open by the end of this year, with the possibility of expansion into other markets going forward.
