WebMD Health Services Given NCQA Disease Management Accreditation

WebMD Health Services received Patient-Oriented Disease Management Accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for its disease management programs for asthma, coronary artery disease, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and diabetes. On July 1, 2015, new NCQA Health Plan requirements become effective. The new requirements will focus on NCQA Member Connection Standards for Health Plans, (MEM Standards) and requires health plans to be compliant for all product lines, including Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and Marketplace (Exchange) products.
