Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research recently announced it has appointed Elizabeth Moore as its executive director. Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research (Wellbridge) is being developed in partnership with addiction disorder Northwell Health—the nation’s 14th largest health care system, and a leader in combating addiction disorder—and full-service real estate firm The Engel Burman Group, one of the largest developers of senior housing in New York.

Ms. Moore formerly served as chief operating officer (COO) for 15 years at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut. She joins Wellbridge as it prepares to open a new 80-bed center on 40 acres in Calverton, New York this Fall. With a focus on accelerating the translation of basic science discoveries into real-time, actionable addiction treatment, Wellbridge will be one of the first facilities to incorporate an onsite research center.

Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research will provide a full continuum of care to address the chronic nature of addiction disorder. This will include a residential program, outpatient services, extended chronic disease management, and ongoing support services via digital platforms.

This was reported by Wellbridge on April 16, 2019.
