Wellspan Health Opens Innovative Mental Health & Addiction Clinic In York To Serve Vulnerable Consumers With Coordinated Care

WellSpan Health announced the opening of a new and innovative one-stop certified community behavioral health clinic (CCBHC) for consumers with mental health and addiction disorder. Called START (Specialized Treatment and Recovery Team), the clinic provides a coordinated care experience for consumers with urgent mental health and addiction needs. The program surrounds them with the right resources and services they need in the right place, at the right time, with the goal of reducing emergency department visits.
