Whittier Street Health Center Expands Mobile Health Program To Include Dental & Vision Services

Whittier Street Health Center, a community health center that serves the greater Boston area in Massachusetts, launched new mobile dental and vision services as part of its Health on Wheels Program. Dental services include routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventative care. Vision services include eye exams, prescription glasses, and screenings for common eye conditions.

Whittier Street Health Center provides primary care and behavioral health care for more than 30,000 people annually through its locations in Roxbury, North Dorchester, and the mobile health program. About 36% of the people served are uninsured. Health on Wheels launched in November . . .
