Avalon Healthcare Solutions (Avalon) announced a majority investment from WindRose Health Investors, with continued participation from existing investor Francisco Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Avalon provides diagnostic management and analytics solutions for health plans, supporting more than 90 million members across over 30 payer organizations. Its platform processes diagnostic claims and applies evidence-based policies to support utilization management and cost control.

This new investment will allow Avalon to:

Expand its diagnostic intelligence capabilities

Accelerate improvements in predictive analytics and evidence-based policy automation

Strengthen its Diagnostic Insights Platform
