Withings, which provides at-home connected health devices, acquired 8fit, a worldwide health, fitness, and wellness app. Financial terms were not disclosed. Available in six languages, 8fit offers efficient workouts, customized meal plans, and self-care guidance.  Withings intends to invest more than $30 million to accelerate development of 8fit to strengthen personalized wellness capabilities. Withings seeks to develop personalized programs that combine sophisticated data with actionable insights that empower users to modify behavior.
