Woodlands Senior Living Earns Accreditation At Maine Facilities  

Maine-based Woodlands Senior Living said the Joint Commission has accredited five of its 10 assisted living facilities. It said the five other locations are expected to earn the distinction in the coming weeks.

The accredited locations are Farmington, Hallowell, Waterville, Madison, and Hillside Terrace of Hallowell. According to Woodlands Senior LIving, these sites are the first in the state to earn this designation.

Woodlands Senior Living was founded in 1980. It operates 16 communities in ten locations in Maine, which offer care to more than 600 residents.
