Roche Introduces On-Site Drug Test
OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Roche Diagnostic Systems, Inc. has just introduced ONTRAK, an on-site drug test. The test involves a slide encased in plastic, in which a urine specimen is placed along with drops of three reagents, according to a report in the February issue of ‘Drugs In The Workplace’. The mixture is “read” by observing its appearance. The ONTRAK kit tests for amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, morphine and tetrahydrocannabinol.
