Highland Ridge Expands Scholarship Bed Program

OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News For the past six year, Highland Ridge Hospital of Salt Lake City has had a scholarship bed program for people suffering from chemical dependency problems. Beginning last December, the facility expanded its program to five of its 34 beds during the holiday season according to a report that appeared in the January 10, 1990 issue of Alcoholism And Drug Abuse Week. To be eligible for the free care program, applicants must be 18 or over with no complicating medical problems in addition to their addiction; have never completed . . .
