Hythiam, Inc., Plans PROMETA® Substance Abuse Treatment Expansion to Managed Care in Merger With CompCare

OPEN MINDS, The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Hythiam, Inc., the creator of the patented PROMETA® protocol, plans to expand its operations to managed care following a January 18, 2007, merger agreement with managed care organization (MCO) Comprehensive Care Corporation, the parent company of Comprehensive Behavioral Care, Inc. (CompCare). Following the merger, which is expected to close in the first half of 2007, CompCare will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hythiam.
