The Resource Based Relative Value Scales could increase psychiatrist compensation according to a report issued on November 28, 1988 by The Keckley Report On Health Care Market Research. The Relative Value Scales were developed by Professor William Hsiao of the Harvard School of Public Health and first published in September 28, 1988 in the New England Journal Of Medicine.
