Colorado Medicaid Mental Health RFPs Slated for Release in July 1999

OPEN MINDS, The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News As Colorado nears the end of its first five year contracts for Medicaid mental health services, the state Division of Mental Health is beginning the process of readying RFPs for release in July 1999. Current contracts with the nine managed care program regions will expire June 30, 2000. Bill Bush, capitation program manager for mental health services, said the current contracts amount to about $120 million per year. The state does not anticipate any major changes in contract amounts, with the exception of a possible adjustment for inflation . . .
