The California Department of Aging has awarded $100,000 to the San Diego Community Healthcare Alliance to help establish an Adult Day Health Care Center for people with AIDS. The Center will provide day care for people with AIDS, which will enable their care givers to continue working. As part of its program, the Center will offer recreational and social activities; meals; physician services; psychological and psychiatric services; and physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
