Massachusetts Seeks Treatment Program For Patients With Severe Symptoms Of Alcohol & Drug Withdrawal

The Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Abuse Services (BSAS) released a Request for Response (RFR) seeking a licensed acute treatment services program to provide acute treatment services for individuals at high risk for severe withdrawal symptoms related to alcohol and other drug addictions. Defined as Level III-A, these treatments are medically monitored acute stabilization services and supervised detoxification to individuals with acute withdrawal. The program utilizes established detoxification protocols, standing orders, and physician consultations.
