The Move Toward Outsourcing As our economy has slowed over the past decade, outsourcing has become a much-debated trend in U.S. business circles. What started as the outsourcing of simple data entry and call centers has quickly moved to the outsourcing of technical development and "white collar" management positions. For the most part, the workforce in the behavioral health and social service field has been rather oblivious to the outsourcing phenomenon.
