New Medicaid Data From 21 States Finds Enrollment Up In 12 States
OPEN MINDS, The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News New Medicaid data collected directly from 21 states, representing almost three-quarters of national Medicaid enrollment, shows a 1.4% increase in Medicaid enrollment from June 1998 to June 1999. This growth follows a period of enrollment decreases that began in 1995. The data, collected for the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured by Health Management Associates, provides the most current available information on Medicaid enrollment.
