Blues to Acquire Interest in Green Spring

OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania (BCWP), based in Pittsburgh, is in the process of acquiring an ownership interest in Green Spring Mental Health Services, a subsidiary of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maryland. Green Spring will serve as the managed behavioral health program vendor for BCWP's large corporate clients, said John McDermott, company spokesman.
