The Florida Correctional Privatization Commission (CPC) has been given a one-year reprieve by the state's legislature, but it won't have authority to do much before its final abolition. However, the state's Department of Management Services (DMS), slated to take over the agency's duties, doesn't want them. Nevertheless, Florida House and Senate budget committees have agreed the $100 million business of running the state's private prisons - and adding a sixth one near Graceville . . .
