CPC Reports 200% Growth in Day Hospital Patient-Days
OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Community Psychiatric Centers (CPC) reported a 200% increase in day treatment patient days between the first quarter of 1990 and the first quarter of 1991. According to Richard Conte, CPC’s president, the increase in use of day treatment is attributable, in part, to demands of managed care organizations.
