Sixty-two hospitals in the greater Chicago area are instituting employee assistance and drug testing programs through a master contract through the Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council (MCHC). The master contract is part of MCHC’s program called ‘Healthcare Against Drugs’. In addition to contracting for EAP and laboratory services, the MCHC program also provides the hospitals with a centralized training, resource and legal assistance.
