Federal Health & Human Service RFPs Increased by 47% in 2005: Total Number of Government RFPs Decrease 10%

In 2005, the federal government published 1,575 request for proposals (RFPs) in the health and human service field, 737 more RFPs than in 2004, or a 47% increase. However, the total number of federal, state, and local government RFPs decreased ten percent in the same period, continuing a decline that began three years ago.
