TAO, Inc. of Philadelphia has been awarded contracts to provide inpatient behavioral health utilization review services for Jefferson Pilot Insurance Company and Emerald Health Plan. Jefferson Pilot with 400,000 insured in its indemnity health insurance plans, will have TAO review the inpatient stays for those insured with behavioral health limitations of over $10,000. Emerald Health Plan is a PPO with 120,000 covered lives.
