Behavioral Medical Care Is Subject Of Legal Action

OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News VHA Enterprises, Inc. (VHAE) announced that it is unilaterally dissolving its substance abuse joint venture with Comprehensive Care Corporation. VHAE also announced that it will form a new substance abuse company with Parkside Medical Services corporation of Park Ridge Illinois (a division of Lutheran General Hospital System), according to an article that appeared in the September 15, 1989 issue of Modern Healthcare. Parkside will own 70% of the new venture with VHAE. On July 6, VHAE and Parkside filed a lawsuit against CompCare for control of Behavioral Medical . . .
