Half of Public Employers Offer EAPs
OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Slightly more than half of the nations public employers have employee assistance programs (EAPs), according to a recent survey of the members of the Public Risk Management Association. Of those with EAPs, 95% are satisfied them. Other findings of the survey included: 11% of EAPs have done a cost-benefit study of EAP effectiveness 75% contract out for EAP services 61% pay on a per-employee basis, while the others pay either on a fee-for-service basis or a flat monthly, quarterly, or annual fee EAPs . . .
