Value Behavioral Health will be the name of the new company formed when the pending merger of Value Health's American PsychManagement (APM) and the behavioral health unit of Preferred Health Care, Ltd. receive shareholder approval. The merger agreement between Value Health and Preferred was signed on September 23, 1993 and will be subject to a vote at special shareholder meetings of Value Health and Preferred scheduled for November 5, 1993.
