Medco Wins IBM Account; New EAP Design

OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health Industry Analyst Industry News Personal Performance Consultants Inc. (PPC), a division of Medco Behavioral Care Corporation, has signed a two-year contract with IBM to manage an integrated employee assistance and managed behavioral health program for all IBM beneficiaries. The contract goes into effect January 1, 1995. IBM had previously split its employee assistance services contract between PPC and Human Affairs International Inc. (HAI). IBM's managed behavioral health program has been provided by Value Behavioral Health (VBH). PPC's program for IBM has been designed to include in-person assessment and brief counseling services . . .
