Where Are Behavioral Health & Social Service Organizations With Value-Based Reimbursement? The Numbers Are In
There’s a lot of talk about value-based reimbursement, but we had a hard time getting our hands on some numbers. So we decided to find out for ourselves and the numbers are in. Our recent OPEN MINDS survey found that 15% of behavioral health and social service organizations are in some type of value-based payment arrangement. For most organizations, this represents less than 20% of their overall organizational revenue. Not surprisingly, the performance metrics in these arrangements varied widely.
