Pay-For-Success Projects In Child Welfare & Juvenile Justice Come To California Market

On December 16, 2013, Third Sector Capital Partners and the National Council on Crime and Delinquency (NCCD) announced that The California Endowment awarded funds develop two county-level Pay-for-Success (PFS) projects in California related to restorative juvenile justice and foster care. Third Sector and NCCD will identify and work with selected county governments willing to undertake PFS contracting during 2014.

Third Sector and NCCD will use the $250,000 award to complete feasibility studies on the viability of using PFS programs to deliver social services for the following issue areas:
