A question OPEN MINDS has approached several times in the last few years is whether or not telehealth can be effective in treating patients. Abundant research and clinical practice has shown that for many interventions and patients, telehealth can provide outcomes and consumer satisfaction equivalent to "face-to-face" care (see The State Of Telehealth In The U.S. – Guidelines, Legislation, Reimbursements, & The Future Of Telemedicine).
