Have It Your Way
In 1974, Burger King came out with the jingle, "Have It Your Way." This was part of their $400 million comeback plan focused on individuality and self-expression and was meant to differentiate them from the mass-produced Big Mac of their competitor, McDonalds. The lyrics to the jingle proclaimed that Burger King would serve you a customized product—you can have whatever toppings you want on a burger, or you can even have it plain.
