Leveraging Medicaid To Address The Housing Issue
Last week, my colleague, Athena Mandros, looked at the landscape of housing supports in the U.S. and what health plans are doing to invest in housing in a way that will reduce their costs (see The Future Of Housing Support). State Medicaid agencies are also tackling the housing issue (for the same reason), but their role is more complex.
