Illinois-based Charter Senior Living recently added 13 communities in Illinois and Wisconsin under its management. The communities were previously managed by Cedarhurst Senior Living.;;

The newly managed communities in Illinois and Wisconsin are owned by Diversified Healthcare Trust.; During 2024, Charter has added 19 total communities under management.;;

The other six, added in February, are based in New England. Those communities were previously managed by Columbia Pacific Advisors.;;

Charter Senior Living was founded in 2016. CEO Keven Bennema said the company has plans for more growth. Charter has two projects under development . . .
