Cambridge Hospital in Houston, Texas, has closed its doors. The 148-bed facility had been in operation since 2012. The hospital had been operating in space that once housed IntraCare Medical Center, but IntraCare had to close its facility after losing its certification from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Cambridge Hospital surrendered its state license on July 7, 2015, and the hospital’s website simply contains the message, “Cambridge Hospital is closed.”

This was reported by the Houston Chronicle on July 13, 2015.
