Association For Mental Health & Wellness: An OPEN MINDS Organizational Profile

Founded in 2014, the Association for Mental Health and Wellness (MHAW) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides mental health, homelessness, and health care management services. Their mission statement is “empowering and inspiring people of all communities to identify, pursue, and sustain healthy, meaningful lives.” Three Suffolk County organizations—the Mental Health Association in Suffolk County, the Clubhouse of Suffolk, and Suffolk County United Veterans—merged to form MHAW.

Headquartered in Ronkonkoma, New York, MHAW provides services throughout Suffolk County. The organization employs approximately 200 staff and serves approximately 6,500 consumers annually.
