Holdings, LLC, doing business as Benchmark Human Services (Benchmark), was established in 1960 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and has served individuals with disabilities and behavioral health needs since that time. Originally founded as a non-profit, in 2007 the organization restructured to form three entities: a for-profit (Benchmark), the original non-profit (Anthony Wayne Rehabilitation Center (AWRC)), and a charitable foundation (Anthony Wayne Services (AWS) Foundation) that gets 60% of profits from Benchmark and redistributes those funds in the form of grants to the Northeast Indiana community where the company is headquartered.
