Citrus Health Network, Inc: An OPEN MINDS Organizational Profile

Founded in 1979, Citrus Health Network, Inc. (Citrus) is a non-profit community mental health center in Florida that provides mental and behavioral services to adults and children. In 2004, Citrus received a Section 330 (e) grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and became a Federally Qualified Health Center (DFQHC). Citrus then expanded its services to include primary health. Citrus now provides services to address the whole person of care and coordinates care across a range of health services and community-based programs. The organization’s mission is “The Business of Helping People.”
