David Lawrence Centers: An OPEN MINDS Organizational Profile

Founded in 1968, the David Lawrence Centers (DLC) is a non-profit provider organization offering comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based prevention and treatment services for children and adults with mental health and substance abuse challenges in Florida. Their mission is “to provide life-saving and life-changing behavioral health care through education, prevention, intervention, and treatment available to all.”

Headquartered in Naples, Florida, DLC operates four additional satellite offices to serve children, adults, and families in Southwest Florida, including Naples, Immokalee, and Marco Island. The organization employs 300 staff and serves 10,000 individuals annually.
