Gateway Hudson Valley (GHV), which started out in 1956 as Gateway Community Industries, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities and mental health needs as well as older people with therapeutic programs, housing, jobs, and food. Their mission statement is: "Gateway Hudson Valley assists people in choosing, acquiring, using, and maintaining the skills and supports necessary to achieve success and satisfaction in their lives. We accomplish this through integrated vocational, therapeutic, residential, and business services."
