Founded in 1837, Hillside (formerly Hillside Children’s Center) is a non-profit organization that provides behavioral health, crisis support, education, child welfare, and residential treatment to more than 10,000 youth, adults, and families in central and western New York and in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Their mission is to “partner with youth, adults, and their families to provide individualized health, education, and human services through an integrated system of care.” The organization is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and Standards for Excellence Institute.
