Founded in 1973 in Tucson, Arizona, Intermountain Centers for Human Development is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides community-based services, substance use disorder treatments, outpatient autism services, foster care services for children and adults, and temporary residential programs for youth and adults in transition. Its mission is, “Intermountain Centers provides the highest quality, evidence-based health and human services to facilitate self-sufficiency for individuals in their own communities and cultural contexts. Intermountain strives to be a model for health and human service organizations.”
