Founded in 1865, Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSSM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides adoption and foster care services, behavioral health services, crisis shelters for homeless children, disaster response, employment services, financial counseling, and support services for people with disabilities. LSSM is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA), the Center for Guardianship Certification (CGC), and the Charities Review Council.
